check out the form at: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-693.pdf
On page towards the bottom it prompts the doctor to enter details of the tb skin test.
Did u actually take the test? If you did, then perhaps ur doc missed it.
If i remember correctly, the doc i went to gave us two copies of the form, one that was sealed for uscis and the other for our reference. Anyway, if they dont have a copy of it, get a new one and make sure this info is filled out and any attach any additional relevant doc and send it to uscis.
If u got a lawyer, i suggest you get them to send the info with an attached letter etc.

Hello i am running in to issues of how to get address changed. To give you guys previews. We were residing in Chicago till July ending. In August we moved to CT as my wife got a new job there. But since my work location is in IL , I requested my employer whether its possible to work remotely and its ok by law. He said u can change ur residential address and there is no need to amend LCa/H1b as there is no change in work location in my case. Fine for now.
I recently visited CT DMV and requested for CT state license. They denied to me saying that i need a CT employer letter or My employer should issue letter to DMV stating my work location changed. Neither of these are going to happen. For now i have my license and Plate from IL itself. I can still continue to maintain but renewing Plates and Pollution test are pain being in CT any ideas please ?

Hello everybody ! I am 22 years old. My parents had applied for GC under the employment based category. I, unfortunately, aged out before my parents applied I-140 because of the stupid backlogs. So I aged out even before an I-140 was filed. I was reading the Child protection act info and could not understand if I will be "automatically classified to the appropriate category" for GC which is Family 2B and retain my "original PD." Does this apply to me as I had not even filed I-140 when I aged out ? My parent's PD is Oct 2000 so does this mean I am under Family 2B with Oct 2000 PD ?? Please help me out. I am sure many of you with sons/daughters that are in a similar situation. Thanks

Immigration Law from Houston Immigration Lawyer - Annie Banerjee Has Just Posted the Following:
Although I am not going anywhere, as summer rolls along, visions of distant lands dance in my head. However, that vision is marred by long lines at the airports--- getting your luggage checked, getting into a plane with carry on bags and no overhead place, and finally the immigration and customs line ups.
This year, for a fee, the Government and even some airlines are helping to ease that pain.
The US Government, (and some foreign Government as well like Holland) has introduced the Global Entry Program. US Citizens over the age of 14 can pay a fee of $100/- (valid for 5 years) and enroll in the program. They have to enter their data in the following web site:
https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov/ (http://goes-app.cpb.dhs.gov)
After the completion of the process, there will be a one time only CBP interview.
However, once its complete, you do not need to stand in any immigration line. There are kiosks in most major airports. The traveler has to scan in their passport at airport kisoks, and zoom down to luggage claim.
Similarly, in Houston IAH, international travelers who are US Citizens and has no checked luggage, can go through the lines used by pilots and air hostesses for faster processing.
This process can be used by anyone, but because of the lengthy process to get into the program, its probably feasible for frequent business travelers only. The travelers also get expedited check in in kiosks of other participating countries as well. As more countries sign on, the price may come down. Or this may simply become a requirement for foreign travel in the future. It will save money on personnel for countries participating in this program.
Additionally, some airlines are also letting passengers cut in line for boarding the plane or for checking in for a fee. Both American and South West is going to be offering this perk for a fee ranging from $10/- to $50/- per ticket.
This will be the future of travel, in a world increasingly short for time. But then, in this world, will there even be time for vacations?

On Saturday morning, the Senate failed to advance the DREAM Act (H.R. 5281) on a vote of 55-41. Sixty votes were needed to move the bill forward procedurally and stop any filibuster. With that loss, the fight for the DREAM Act is over, at least for this Congress. Below is a summary of Greg Chen's report of this vote.
The vote tally in support of DREAM included three Republicans who crossed the aisle to join 50 Democrats and 2 Independents. Those three Rs were: Richard Lugar (IN) and Robert Bennett (UT) who had come out in support long ago and Lisa Murkowski (AK) who started signaling this week that she would vote yes. With their yes votes, DREAM maintained its status as a bi-partisan bill back nine years to when it was first introduced with seven Republican co-sponsors. Today, long-time DREAM champion Orrin Hatch (R-UT) failed even to show for the bill he originally sponsored in August 2001.
Unfortunately the gain of three Republicans today was not enough to make up the difference. Combined there are 58 Democrats and Independents in the Senate, and there are 42 Republicans. If all the Ds and Is voted in favor, only two Rs would have been needed to reach 60. But today 5 Democrats voted against DREAM: Baucus (MT); Hagan (NC); Nelson (NE); Pryor (AR); and Tester (MT). And one Democrat, newly elected Joe Manchin (WV) failed to show. To win on cloture 60 votes were needed no matter how many actually voted. Thus, a no-show counted as a no vote.
As the 111th Congress comes to its sputtering halt, at least on immigration, the question many are asking is whether there will be a real opportunity to bring up DREAM in the 112th. Looking forward, we face at least two enormous legislative challenges: First, the House will shift to Republican control with 242 Rs and 193 Ds. Last week the House passed DREAM on a 218-198 voteyou can bet your house we wont muster a strong showing like that, let alone a majority, when the new session starts. Second, in the Senate, the Democrats will still have the majority but their margin of control will be 53-47 so getting the yes votes will also be harder in that chamber.
For many of us the source of continued inspiration has been to see all the DREAM activists walking the halls of the capitol and showing tremendous courage when they are the ones who have everything at risk. Let's keep a positive spirit for the future as the fight is not over yet.

So-so pictures... ;) The telephone lines are kind of interesting, I think it may have been better to see the ground as well.

Thank you very much for your reply. Just wanted to know what is "LPR"?
LPR = "Lawful Permanent Residence" = green card holder.
the whole reason we are in this multi-year circus!

This is my understanding PERM has no fees to department of labour. Is that right ?
Can employee may attorney fees for PERM ?
Can employee pay I-140 fees for USCIS ?
Can employee pay I-140 fees to attorney ?
I assume that employee can surely pay for USCIS-485 fees and attorney fees for this. ?

Folks,
Is there a time limit to transfer a H1-B visa ? If the previous company revokes the H1-B visa how long do we have or is the H1-B canceled at that point ? Please let me know at your earliest.

Infact I got a call from US Consulate and they said the same thing to me, and they offered to cancel the appointment for me.
I did get the appointment thru some agency and was wondering if they played a trick but the agency vehemently denied doing any such thing,
I had a Toronto appt as well.
However not sure if it was an official call or a prank
I have an appointment in Toronto next month and today I got a voice message from the US embassy in Canada saying that there could be processing delays of days or months and the decision will be taken by the visa office during the interview. Has anyone else got this kind of message?

does that mean no hope left ? what r the other options ? isn't this whole process is for future employment and if i am licensed now than whats the problem in future employment i don't understand that part "future employment". i am on h1 now and if i will get my residency than i will be working at that position and i am licensed now. then why does the old date matters.
