Has anyone experienced Windows 7 while on bootcamp making the computer run real hot. I'm not talking just a little warm either. What up with this and can I do anything about it.

Bertrand was my favorite SVP, no corporate BS spewing from his mouth, just good old honesty and genuine pride about how great things were and how bad everyone else was :) I will forever miss his accent at the keynotes. I'm guessing they asked him to talk in a keynote about the 'magic' of Lion, so he left in pursuit of science!

i had seen every one of the clips EXCEPT the 'The Knowledge Navigator' which i had heard of, but never seen. creepy/amazing to see in the current context of iPad and such..:eek::apple::D

This is probably a "duh" question. Can you use a microphone with the iPod Touch 3g and still hear the speakers? (Since there is only one input.) The reason I ask is that some young nieces enjoy the Gina the Giraffe and other interactive apps on an iPhone. If so, what mike do you recommend. Thanks. David

Apple Labels it as the iPod shuffle 1G 2nd Gen, so I think this should be the term used. Also, my order status shows my shuffle is now scheduled for delivery by Nov 2.

Got to convince some coworkers to buy this so I can try out multiplayer Warlords.
That was such an awesome game. Basically, multiplayer breakout against each other. Still, it's not the same without the paddle controller. Joysticks, multi-touch, game pads, etc. just aren't as responsive.

Not necessarily. ACT UP was a very aggressive group in the 80's that used that motto to bring attention to the AIDS crisis. I didn't like them or their tactics much at all at the time either. But you know what? It worked. They definitely served their purpose and are responsible for bringing serious attention to HIV/AIDS. Because you know what? Standing up to bullies like social conservatives works.
What doesn't work is letting them walk all over you, like they've been doing for decades. I'm talking about people who, no matter what you do, will NEVER respect you unless you stand up to them. Sometimes, violence is the answer. I'm sorry, but that's just a sad truth. It should always be the last resort, but it is the only answer sometimes. If people like this think you'll never fight back, you'll always lose. Because you know why? They think we're evil. They think we're the enemy. They've dehumanized us to such an extent that they think it's OK to beat the crap out of us, take our rights and even try to take our children. Would you sit still for that? They will never see us as even remotely human. And if we sit there and take it, we'll never get anywhere. These are not people you play nice with, because they won't play nice back.

Wow... that whole site is down. Too much traffic, or has Apple's top secret FBI assasin group struck again. One things for sure... don't "F" with those boys and their secrets.
And to the Safari-haters, show some love. Safari might be a little short on features if you're used to Fox or Omni, but at the end of the day it's still the most elegant and simple browser out there, and it does have its strengths. It's RSS reader was pretty groundbreaking, and still is one of the best, it's one of the few browsers that actually handles fonts and anti-aliasing properly, and it renders CSS layouts very cleanly and without bugs for the most part. So don't hate so much. It's only going to get better every time.

Does anybody plan on lining up at the Savoy, IL AT&T store? I'll probably show up around 4 am. Savoy is a small enough town that I think 4 am is plenty of time.
